Joyce McHam Applegate<\/strong>, 87, of Paris, passed away Monday, Oct. 16, 2023, at Brentwood Terrace Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center.<\/p>\n Memorial services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 21st<\/sup><\/span> at Bright-Holland Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the funeral home.<\/p>\n Mrs. Applegate, the daughter of Harold & Thelma McHam, was born on Jan. 8, 1936, in Paris.<\/p>\n Joyce was a Christian and of the Baptist faith.<\/p>\n Her husband, Kenneth E. Applegate, preceded her in death. Survivors include five children, Melanie Slaton & husband Roy, Kenneth W. Applegate & wife Kathy, Johnny Glenn Applegate & wife Linda, George Applegate & wife Kerri, and Patricia Aguinaga & husband Lazaro, 27 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, one great great grandchild, one brother, Dennis Norman along with friends, Nelda Melton and Patricia Ellis, her helper, Christine Johnson, her roommate, Sandra Stanley and a host of friends. The family would like to extend appreciation to the staff at Brentwood Terrace for the care given to their loved one.<\/p>\n
