Lydia Lou Calhoun was born on March 11, 1948, in Dallas, Texas. She passed peacefully on March 1, 2025, at her home with her family by her side.<\/p>\n
Services will be held at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at 2:00 pm. with Rev. Gerald Tiny Freelen officiating.\u00a0 No visitation will be held.\u00a0 Burial will be at Providence Cemetery.<\/p>\n
Lydia was a homemaker, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a seamstress and artist. She was a member of the Living Word Pentecostal Church of Paris.<\/p>\n
Survivors include her seven children, Tammy Miller and husband Randy, Misty Wilson, Sheila Bright and husband Pat, Joey Wilson, Niki Hughes and husband Justin, Mindy McBride and husband Luke, and Miley Wilson; grandchildren, Kory Carmon and wife Breana, Kameron Carmon and wife Tarrah, Zachery Clifton, Stephanie Williams, Anthony Seat, Lydia Wilson, Colton Wilson, Kaley Wilson, Kallie Wilson, and Nadia Worden; and 13 great-grandchildren.<\/p>\n
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Wilson; two grandsons, Baby Ryan, and Samuel Kevin Cullum.<\/p>\n
Honorary Pallbearers will be Kory Carmon, Kameron Carmon, Zachery Clifton, Anthony Seat, Colton Wilson, Luke McBride and Justin Hughes.<\/p>\n
