{"id":12335,"date":"2022-05-12T19:24:53","date_gmt":"2022-05-13T00:24:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eextra.news\/paris\/?p=12335"},"modified":"2024-11-25T17:09:22","modified_gmt":"2024-11-25T23:09:22","slug":"jacqueline-jackie-kay-helm-obituary","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eextra.news\/paris\/2022\/05\/12\/jacqueline-jackie-kay-helm-obituary\/","title":{"rendered":"Jacqueline &#8216;Jackie&#8217; Kay Helm || Obituary"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"attachment_227223\" style=\"width: 1210px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-227223\" class=\"size-full wp-image-227223\" src=\"https:\/\/eextra.news\/paris\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/11\/Obit-File-With-Photo-2022-05-12T142226.846.png\" alt=\"Jacqueline 'Jackie' Kay Helm\" width=\"1200\" height=\"630\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-227223\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Submitted<\/p><\/div>\n<hr \/>\n<div><strong>Jacqueline Kay Helm<\/strong>, age 62, passed away on Monday, May 2, 2022.<\/div>\n<p>&#8220;Jackie&#8221; was born November 8, 1960, at Wadley Hospital in Texarkana, TX to Jack and Doris Helm.\u00a0\u00a0She was a 1979 graduate of Antlers High School.\u00a0\u00a0Jackie was a beautician by trade and was a graduate of CC&#8217;s Cosmetology College in Hugo.\u00a0\u00a0Jackie also worked for the Oklahoma Highway Department for several years.\u00a0\u00a0In December of 1987, Jackie was blessed with a beautiful baby girl named Kati.\u00a0\u00a0Jackie spent many years as a caregiver for her grandmother, Granny Kat, in Finley, OK.\u00a0\u00a0After Kat\u2019s passing, Jackie moved to Paris, TX where she lived with her mother Doris.\u00a0\u00a0Jackie was blessed once again when her grandson Bennett was born in March of 2020 whom she loved dearly.\u00a0\u00a0Jackie was child of God and loved the Lord.\u00a0\u00a0She attended church with her family at Covenant Christian Church in Paris.\u00a0\u00a0Jackie was funny, genuine, and had a warm heart for anyone she met.\u00a0\u00a0Jackie was a wonderful cook.\u00a0\u00a0She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends and most of all playing with her grandson Bennett.<\/p>\n<p>Jackie is survived by her daughter; Kati and husband Kurt Horton of Paris, TX along with her grandson, Bennett Horton; Mother, Doris Helm of Paris, TX; 2 brothers, David and wife Kim Helm of Ashdown, AR, Jay and wife Melanie Helm of Little Rock, AR; Uncle and Aunt; Mark and Cynthia Price of Royse City, TX, and uncle; Don Helm of Finley, OK, along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.<\/p>\n<p>Jackie was preceded in death by her father; Jack Helm of Antlers, grandparents; Everett and Katherine Helm of Finley, J.O. and Maggie Lou Goodger of Antlers, and aunt; Marita Helm of Finley.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A Celebration of Life for Jackie will be held at the Finley School House in Finley, OK on Saturday, May 21, 2022. Lunch will be provided for the family from 12 to 1 p.m. with visitation following from 1 to 3 p.m.<\/strong> In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Finley Community Center in Jackie&#8217;s name, P.O.
