April 24, 2025

An officer with the North Texas Auto Theft Task Force stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 2500 block of E. Price Street. The driver, Jaylyn Tylon Williams (29) was found to be wanted on an outstanding Felony Probation Violation Warrant out of Delta County. Williams was arrested and transported to the Police Department. It was later found that Williams had stashed a quantity of marijuana in the back seat of the transport vehicle used to take him to jail. Charges are pending on this offense.

April 25, 2025

Officers responded to a Burglary of a Residence in the 2800 block of Hubbard St. A suspect entered the residence and stole food as well as approximately $75.00 worth of change in a large container. The suspect had entered through a side door and had apparently exited through a rear window, possibly upon discovery. Evidence was collected, and the case is under investigation.

Officers made 65 traffic stops, 11 adult arrests, and answered 277 calls for service for this reporting period.
