Billy Rose || Obituary

Billy Rose went to his heavenly home on Thursday, April 17, 2025. He was born April 12, 1956, to John Peyton Rose Jr. and Betty Jo Bolton in Clarksville, TX. He worked at Turner Industries for many years, but his true calling was preaching, having pastored multiple area churches. He lived for his grandchildren, who were his whole world.

He is preceded in death by his father, John Peyton Rose Jr., his mother, Betty Jo (Bolton) Glossup, his beloved grandson Chandler Sikes, his nephew Chad Lee Rose, his two favorite aunts, Pauline Rose Alsobrook and Helen Rose, and his sister Regina Meadows.

He is survived by his children Sherry Williams and husband Richard, Becky Sikes and husband Clay, Teresa Rose Harrelson, Shane Rose and wife Hollie; his grandchildren Joshua Nieto, James Harrelson, Chadlee Harrelson, Korbin Rose, Logan Rose, Michelle Williams, Ryan Williams and wife Autumn, Brian Williams and wife Makenzie, Elijah Williams, and Noah Williams; his ex-wife Barbara Rose, father Doug Glossup, siblings Mike Rose, Sue Martin, Joe Bob Rose and wife Connie, Tab Rose and wife Shawn, Gary Glossup and wife Angie, Dwayne Glossup, Donna Wilkerson and husband Cliff, Danny Glossup, and Brad Lancaster and wife Gina; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

Memorial service will be held at Mt. Olive Baptist Church (3509 County Rd 42600, Paris, TX 75462) on April 26, 2025, at 2 PM.
