Mildred Pratt || Obituary
Mildred Pratt 84 of Paris, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, April 5, 2025.
Funeral services have been set for Friday, April 11, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Myre officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Springhill Cemetery.
She was born on November 24, 1940, In Tecumseh, Oklahoma to Orville Gilbert, and Opal Brown Gilbert. She married George Pratt on May 6, 1960, in Dallas, TX. She had two children at the time Waymon and Patricia Creamer. A little over a year later they had a son, Randall W. Pratt.
She loved quilting, crocheting, and embroidery and tried to make sure everyone in the family had something she made. She was a saleswoman extraordinaire…selling shoes at Ayres managing PayLess Shoe Source, and selling Home Interior, Shaklee, and co-owned Pratt’s Craft Malls. Her family always said she could sell ice to an Eskimo. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her great-grandchildren.
Mildred is survived by her sons, Waymon Creamer (Teri), and Randall Pratt all of Paris; grandchildren, Cameron Creamer (Maranda) of Edmond, OK; Amber Pratt of Portland, OR; Kenny Scarberry of Seattle, WA; Tyler Creamer (Britany), Delaina Scarberry all of Paris, Haley Brandenburg (Mason) of Greenville, TX, her sister Doris Major of Lancaster, TX and eight great-grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, daughter, Patricia Scarberry, brothers Jimmie Gilbert and John Paul Gilbert and sister Joyce Harper.
Serving as Pallbears are Mason Brandenburg, Cameron Creamer, Tyler Creamer, Charlie King, Cliff Leach and Rick Span Jr.
