Officers responded to a disturbance in the 1500 block of East Price. Upon arrival, officers learned that Austin Lee Loyd (33) had forced entry into the residence and was causing a disturbance. Loyd had been given a warning not to return to the residence earlier that day. Officers contacted Loyd who was speaking in patterns that were not sensical. He was claiming to be working for a narcotics task force and alleged that he was trying to rescue an occupant of the residence. It was obvious to officers that Loyd was under the influence of some substance. He was arrested for Public Intoxication due to his state of confusion. A subsequent search of his property revealed a quantity of narcotics. Loyd was also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Officers performed a security check at 820 Clarksville St. and located two suspects hiding on the 5th floor of the property where they were stealing building products from the unoccupied building. The subjects were identified as Phillip Aaron Pullins (49) and Starla Larie Queen (42). Both had outstanding warrants for their arrest and were charged with Theft of Material Aluminum/Bronze/Copper/Brass under 20.000.00 a Felony and Burglary of a Building, a Felony.
A subsequent search of Pullins’ backpack located narcotics, including methamphetamine and heroin, and assorted hand tools believed to be used as criminal instruments to commit the theft of the building materials. Pullins and Queen were subsequently charged with Criminal Trespassing. Pullins was also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance- Heroin, Possession of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine, and Unlawful use of a criminal instrument for possession of the tools used in the offenses. Both were booked without incident
Officers made 9 traffic stops, 5 adult arrest, and answered 115 calls for service for this reporting period.
