United Way of Lamar County Kids Marathon Kick Off

The United Way of Lamar County’s annual event, The Kids Marathon, kicks off today from 5 pm to 6:30 pm at the Trail de Paris (Love Civic Center entrance next to Pump Track).
Any child who has not pre-registered can still register onsite today.
This FREE event is open to all kids in grades K-6 in Lamar County. Today all participants will run their first mile of their marathon on the trail and receive a free t-shirt and running log.
All the kids and their families will come back to the trail for the finale and run the last 1.2 miles together and receive their medals as they cross the finish line. The Credit Union of Texas food truck will be there with free hamburgers for everyone.
The 2025 Kids Marathon is sponsored by Brookshire’s, Quality Care ER, ONCOR, Paris Regional Health, Lamar National Bank and Farmer’s Bank.
