On March 18, 2025, officers stopped a vehicle for a moving violation in the 500 block of NE 3rd St. A passenger in the vehicle was not wearing a seatbelt. When asked for identification the subject gave the name of Jermaine Williams and a date of birth. Officers could not find any identifying information for the name and date of birth given. Upon further investigation, it was established that the subject’s true name was Jaylon Robinson (22) of Paris. Robinson was found to have a warrant for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. This charge stemmed from an October 2024 incident in which Robinson allegedly fired a handgun at victims who were driving away in a vehicle. Robinson was arrested on the warrant for Aggravated Assault and was also charged with failing to Identify as a Fugitive from Justice.
