Lonnie Arlton Bristow, 90, of Paris, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Heritage House of Paris.

Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled services for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 18th at the United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Robert Myre & Rev. Jimmy Millsap officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

Arlton, the son of Lonnie Bristow & Nellie Love Bristow, was born January 29, 1935, in Lamar County, TX.

He graduated from Cunningham High School, and in 1956 he entered the United States Army where he served until 1959. In 1960, he began his career with Westinghouse/Phillips Lighting which spanned 36 years before his retirement in 1996.

Arlton was a faithful member of the United Pentecostal Church where he served on the board for many years, was bus superintendent for a number of years and counted the offerings for 50 years.

On June 4, 1960, he married Ella Mae Moss, and she preceded him in death on June 28, 2023, after building 63 years of family and memories.

Survivors include his son, Joey Bristow & wife Susan, two grandchildren, Derek Bristow & wife Riley and Bailey Bristow & fiancé Christian Mitchell, two great grandchildren, Kollins Bristow and Kanton Bristow, and a sister, Georgia Jones & husband James along with many nieces & nephews and a host of friends.

Casket bearers will be; Derek Bristow, Christian Mitchell, Ronny Bolton, Richard Lynch, Shane Moss, and Garon Jackson.
