Lola Jean Young || Obituary
Lola Young, beloved wife, mother, daughter, aunt, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully into the loving arms of Jesus on March 7, 2025, at the age of 73. She was surrounded by loved ones and left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
Born on May 25, 1951, in Vian, Oklahoma, Lola was the youngest of eight children.
She dedicated 40-plus years of her life to a fulfilling career in the healthcare industry. She was known for her professionalism, dedication, and kindness. One of her proudest achievements was the specific achievement or milestone of starting a home health and hospice, serving several states.
Lola loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a caring and giving person, giving to many charities, including funding an orphanage. She also gave to her friends and complete strangers.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings. She is survived by her son, Ronald Mays, and many cousins, Nieces, Nephews, and Friends.
Lola, your presence brightened our days, and your absence leaves a void that can never be filled. Rest in the loving arms of Jesus, dear Lola.
Service scheduled at 1 PM, Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Evergreen Cemetery Chapel.
