Margaret Sue Clarkson || Obituary

Margaret Sue Clarkson, “Sue” was born in Paris, Texas on July 6, 1934, to parents, Delbert Watson and Agnus Whitley Watson.

  She attended Blossom School and Graduated from East Texas State University.  Margaret married Randle Clarkson, Sr. on March 20, 1953, and the two remained married until his death in 2022, almost celebrating 70 years together.

  Although she graduated with a teaching degree, she was a full-time mom and wife. She exceled in her chosen field and mothered many other children than her own; Randle Jr., Rhett and Lacretia.

 Miss Sue chose to use her life in service to others. She was a member of the Blossom Garden Club, The Red Hat Society, the Blossom PTA, Daughters of the American Revolution and the Order of the Eastern Star.

 She was preceded in death by her husband, Randle Clarkson, Sr.; son, Randle Clarkson, Jr.; and daughter-in-law, Sherry Clarkson.

 She is survived by her son, Rhett Clarkson; daughter, Lacretia Witcher and husband, Jesse and daughter-in-law, Lesa Clarkson; grandchildren, Jasper Clarkson and wife, Waleska, Nick Clarkson and wife, Jazmin, Micah Fendley, Tyler Flook and wife, Elizabeth, Ryan Peel and wife, Tosha, Toni Clarkson, Kelli Odell and husband, James; great-grandchildren, Isabell, Dominic, Julianna, Addison, Gavin, Garrett, Felecity, Jordon, Jackson and Mallory; and a brother, Bill Watson.

 Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at 3:00 PM at the Blossom United Methodist Church. Visitation will be 30 minutes before the service. Burial will follow at Knights of Honor Cemetery in Blossom. Reverend Abby Norman Strickland will officiate.

 Pallbearers will be Nick Clarkson, Micah Fendley, Tyler Flook, James Odell, Calvin Graham, and Ryan Peel.
