Bridget Beaty Lee || Obituary

Bridget Beaty Lee, born on February 10, 1950, was a native of West Nashville, Tennessee.

She passed peacefully from this life on February 25, 2025, at home surrounded by her family in Bogata, Texas where she had moved to be near her oldest daughter and grandchildren.

Bridget was a graduate of Cohn High School. She grew up attending Park Avenue church of Christ where she met Larry Lee. They were married in 1973. Larry preceded her in death 47 years later in 2020. She is also preceded in death by her mother, Mary Helen Beaty (Greer), her father, Paul Beaty, and her brother, Brent Beaty, all of West Nashville.

Bridget was a loving, Christian wife, daughter, sister, mother, aunt, grammy, and friend. She loved crime dramas, all the old classic TV shows, purple irises, Nat King Cole, chocolate, and a good cup of coffee. Her quick wit could make anyone laugh and she loved to laugh, also. She enjoyed having her family around her including her little dog, Bean. She worked for several decades for The St. Paul Insurance Company in Brentwood, TN and later retired from Brentwood Services.

She is survived by her children, Toreta Miller (Brandon), Bogata, TX, Paul Lee, Bogata, TX, Jeana Odom (Jeffrey), Fairview, TN.; grandchildren, Alex, Laney, and Rachel; and nephew, David Beaty, Nashville, TN.

A graveside service has been set for Friday, February 28, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Turner Cemetery in Red River County.
