Gene Phillip Provenzano || Obituary

Gene P Provenzano, 63, of Lake Creek, TX passed away on February 12, 2025.  He was admitted to the hospital with a virus with a fever and headache under observation and his heart just couldn’t take it.

Arrangements are by Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home, Paris, TX

Viewing will be at 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2025.  The service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with a closed casket.  Charleston Methodist Church, 4161 FM 895, Cooper, TX. 75450, Burial to follow at Charleston Cemetery, Charleston, TX

Gene was born in Covina, CA to Samuel Joseph Provenzano and Annette Lombardo Provenzano on March 22, 1961.  He went to school in Victorville, CA.  He married Linda Woods-Provenzano, April 21, 2023, after being together 20 years, followed with an intimate vowel renewal with just the six children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren on November 29, 2024. Gene worked as a General Contractor, electrical engineer for over 40 years, owning his own construction company, SJA Electric followed by being partners with his cousin Rick Porter for RJ Construction.  Gene raised his three children, and they were his everything.  He enjoyed their sports, worked on cars, did a lot of boating and nature vacations, and even after they began their own families, vacationed with all his children.  Gene embraced Linda’s three children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren as his own.  He was proud of each and every one of his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.  All of his children and grandchildren are very familiar with “The Claw”, it was his special tickle bond with each of them.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Grace Loretta Provenzano, and brother, Joseph Vincent Provenzano.

Gene is survived by his wife Linda Provenzano, son Steven George Provenzano, son Jason Gene John Provenzano, daughter Ashley Christine Provenzano, step daughter Jamie Renee’ Cruz, step son James Robert Woods IV, and step son Jeffrey Ryan Woods,  grandsons Ricky Navarro, Jacob Provenzano, Owen Provenzano, Andruw Cruz, James Woods V, Jeremiah Woods, granddaughters, Angellique Provenzano, Baby girl Provenzano,  Kierstyn Almeida, Lillyan Cruz, Alisha Woods, Alexus Woods, great grandsons Trey Almeida, Benny Almeida, great granddaughter Kamryn Almeida, father Samuel Joseph Provenzano, mother Annette Provenzano, brother George Provenzano, sister Carolyn Frericks, brother David Sireka, sisters Barbara Clark, Tina Becker, Anna Sanchez, Leah Thompson, Sami Gallegos, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The Pallbearers will be Steven Provenzano, Jason Provenzano, Jimmy Woods, Jeffrey Woods, Ricky Navarro, David Sireka
