Tresia A. (Brooks) Patterson, 59, of Paris, passed away on February 11, 2025, to be with her beloved husband, Darrell Patterson, and to rejoice with her parents in the presence of the Lord. Tresia was born on January 25, 1966, to Haskell and Dorothy (Eudy) Brooks in Paris, Texas.

She is survived by her daughters, Taylor Smith and her husband Steven Smith, Logan Ashford and her husband Leighton Ashford II, and her grandchildren: Lillian and Nolan Smith, Addison, Paxton, Rowan, and Liam Ashford, sister Rena Allen-Lutz, and her husband Larry, sister Lisa Bowman, and her husband Glenn, Sister Jency Pratt, and Brother Tony Allen, Nieces, and Nephews, Jason, Kortney, Blake Krystal, Korey, Erin, Montana, Jacob, Ryan, Channing, and Whitney. Tresia was a loving and dedicated mother and grandmother, affectionately known as “Nanny.”

Tresia was preceded in death by her parents, Haskell and Dorothy Brooks, her husband Darrell Patterson, and her niece Brittany Brooks.

Tresia shared a deep, unshakeable love with her husband, Darrell, with whom she spent 31 years. Together, they built a life full of love, laughter, and lasting memories. Tresia was fiercely devoted to her family. She was an amazing mother and grandmother who was always there for her daughters and grandchildren. She was lovingly stubborn and never hesitated to ensure her family was well taken care of, offering her wisdom and guidance.

Though life presented its challenges, Tresia remained steadfast and present as a wife, mother, and Nanny. She and Darrell made cherished road trips to Royce City to celebrate family milestones with their daughters and grandchildren, showing how much family meant to her.

Tresia’s heart was full of anticipation as she looked forward to being reunited with loved ones who had passed before her, knowing that a glorious family reunion awaited her in heaven. She will forever be cherished by those she left behind, and her legacy of love, care, and strength will continue to inspire.

A visitation will be held on Monday, February 17, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Roden-Pryor Funeral Directors, with a Celebration of Life service beginning at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow immediately at Evergreen Cemetery in Paris, where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband Darrell.
