Robert William Philippi || Obituary

Robert William Philippi was born in Brockton, MA on November 1, 1944, to parents, Theodore William Philippi and Julianna Mayo Philippi.

After graduation, Robert began his lifelong career in the United States Air Force. He served four tours in Vietnam and finally retired as Master Sergeant in 1989.

His life was changed for the sweeter and better when he met Mary Darlene Putman. The couple married in Corsicana, Texas on May 11, 1980, and remained married until his passing. They were members of Victory Baptist Church of Paris.

Robert is survived by his wife, Mary Philippi; children, Stephen R. Philippi, Scott Hines and wife, Amy, Stephanie Holland, and husband, Mark, Stacie Clark and husband, Larry; Grandchildren, Kyle Johnston and husband, Lucas, Erik Carr and wife, Caitlyn, Tucker Clark and wife, Avery, Wayde Clark and girlfriend, Tati, Bobbie Jo Clark, Justin Johnston, Cody Hines and Wyatt Hines; Great-grandchildren, Dylan Clark and Dakota Carr; Sister, Judy LaFond, and her children.

Visitation with friends and family will be Sunday, February 16 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Fry Gibbs Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 17th at 1:00 PM at DFW National Cemetery. Full Military Honors will be rendered there.
