Roy Edward “Eddie” Thompson || Obituary

Roy Edward “Eddie” Thompson, 72 of Paris, Texas passed away Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Paris Regional Health. Services will be held Friday, February 14, 2025, at 11:00 am. in the chapel of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery.

He was born on December 5, 1952, in Paris a son of Bobby Wayne Thompson and Helen Elizabeth Thompson

Eddie is survived by his Very special friend Margaret Stephens of Paris, Texas. Daughters, Dawn Severs husband Dan of Fall River, Kansas and Desiree Newberry husband Cody of Paris, Texas. Dakota Thompson of Eustace, Texas.
Grandchildren, Crystal Hutchinson husband Dannie, Courtney Ball husband Matthew, Chance Wood all of Fall River, Kansas. Anlyn Newberry, Hannah Newberry, Lillian Newberry and Sophia Newberry all of Paris, Texas. Great grandkids, Ryett Hutchinson, Paislee Hutchinson, Tayliana Ball and Mya Ball. Sisters, Elizabeth Miller, Charlotte Cunningham and Brenda Smith, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby Wayne Thompson and Helen Elizabeth Thompson Hill, brother, Rodger Wayne Thompson, brother in laws, Charles Smith, Rory Cunningham, and Larry Miller.
