Jason Lynn Skidmore || Obituary

Jason Lynn Skidmore was born on August 22, 1969, in San Antonio, Texas, and passed away on January 30, 2025, at his home in Austin.

He was the son of Judy Skidmore and Jerry Skidmore.  He was the father of Alexis Skidmore.  Jason graduated from Paris High School in Paris, Texas. Shortly after graduating High School, he joined the United States Coast Guard serving eight years, and was stationed in numerous locations, including Oregon, Florida, North Carolina, and California.  

Jason is survived by his daughter Alexis of Austin, his mother Judy Skidmore of Paris, his father Jerry Skidmore and Connie of New Braunfels, his sister Heather Skidmore Cody and John of Paris, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, and by his beloved dog, Duke.  He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Harry and Ruby Skidmore of Blossom, Texas, and L.M. and Helen Ruth Alexander of Mineola, Texas.  

Jason will be remembered for his quick wit, infectious humor, and the connections he fostered throughout his life.  A memorial service will be held at a later date in Austin, TX.
