United Way of Lamar County Hosts Second “Community Conversation on Homelessness”
The United Way of Lamar County (UWLC) will host a second “Community Conversation on Homelessness” at the Paris Public Library’s Community Room on Wednesday, February 12th, at 2 p.m.
UWLC Executive Director Jenny Wilson states, “Last fall we had a great group of community leaders come together for our first “Community Conversation on Homelessness” to have a very open dialogue about the increasing number of homeless individuals in our community. We want to bring everyone back to the table to discuss some solutions that some agencies have been working on and brainstorm how to address and hopefully fix this issue.”
All are welcome to attend. For more information, call the United Way office at 903-784-6642 or email jenny.wilson@lamarcountyuw.org
