The New eExtraNews Pages!

February 3, 2025

After a few anticipated glitches with switching over to the new website https://eextra.news/paris/ and forwarding the old website to land on the new page, we are up and running with a new look! The new https://eextra.news/paris/ website has been cleaned up from 14 categories down to 8 categories on the Tab Bar. You can click on the Tab Bar and go straight to “Local News – Crime – Obituaries – Events – Real Estate – Schools – Business – Public Notices”. If you click on the eExtra NEWS logo right in the middle of the Tab Bar, it will take you back to the home page.

In the top right corner, we have the weather shown, if you click on it, you will be taken to the National Weather Service page for the Dallas/Fort Worth local forecast office. This will be a great resource, especially during inclement weather and during tornado season as they are the ones that put out the official warnings for the weather in our area.

Once we get the eGreenvilleExtra, eMtPleasantExtra, eRoyseCityExtra web pages up and running, you will be able to click on the top left of the page at “eExtra SITES” and navigate to that respective page.

As you scroll down the home page you will see our “Featured Stories”. We will put the most relative or important stories there as they come up. As you go down the page you will see the Top Stories under each “Category”. If you select the category name, such as “Local News” it will take you to that category’s page for all the stories.

When you select a story to read, under the story title you will see a “Facebook” “X Twitter” and “LinkedIn” box. This is how you can share that story directly to your page.

We will continue to do some minor adjustments and fixes as we go through the day and week, but let us know what you think of the new look in the comments below!
