Doyle Richard Quinn II “Doc” || Obituary

Doyle Richard Quinn II “Doc” age 75, of Blossom, Texas passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2025. Doyle was born in Palo Alto, CA on July 23, 1949, to Doyle Richard Quinn I “Buddy” and Lois Mae Richardson.

Doc grew up in Tulare, CA. He honorably served these United States in the US Marine Corps from 1966 to 1970. He had two children with his first wife, Doyle Richard Quinn III “DJ” and Debra Miller both of Visalia, CA. He had three stepchildren that he raised and loved like his own with his second wife, Alecia Cook, Jimmy Perry and Stormey Perry all of Paris, TX.

To know him was to love him. His care for others superseded himself. He was a hard loving, hardworking man. He had a passion for all things with motors and all music. He was an avid guitar player with his favorite style, the Blues. He would always say, he would sit and play the guitar to relax from the stresses of everyday life. He had so many talents, it would be too much to list.

Doc left this poem for the love of his life, in his words.

My Beautiful Jennifer,

When I’m gone, who’s gonna hold your hand, walk with you, be your ever-loving man? Give you kisses, always open your doors? Who’s gonna tell you, hey beautiful, I love you more!

He is survived by his wife Jennifer, children DJ, Debra, Alecia, Jimmy and Stormey. Grandchildren Doyle, Myca, Kyrstin, Taylor, Blake, Olivia, Liam, Ari and Parker. Great Grandchildren Collins, Korbin, Quinn, and Emmett, which whom he loved with his whole heart.

He is proceeded in death by both parents, Buddy and Lois Quinn, two sisters, Donna Phillips and Della Price.

Services will be held Thursday January 23, 2025, at 2:00 at Bright-Holland Funeral Home Chapel, 2601 Lamar Ave, Paris, TX with interment and military honors following at Union Grove Cemetery, US Hwy 82 E @ Sugar Hill Rd, Reno, TX.
