Glenda Ruth Smith Westmoreland || Obituary

Glenda Ruth Smith Westmoreland, age 69, of Paris passed away January 13, 2025, in the ICU, at Paris Regional Health. Her son, Robert and his friend Pam, and her sister Julie, were at her side. A private family memorial will be held at a later date. Bright-Holland Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements. She was born December 3, 1955, in Dallas, Texas.

She lived for several years at Legend Healthcare and Rehabilitation, in Paris. In her lifetime, she lived in Paris, Dallas, and Llano.

Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, Earl Ralph Smith and Zona Myers Smith; brothers, twin infants Thomas and Jerry Smith, Billy Earl Smith; sisters Mary Smith Hackworth and Fina Smith Pike.

She is survived by sons, Robert Horton of Paris, Texas and Jack Horton, Jr. of Midland, Texas; one daughter, Dana who lives near Ft. Worth, Texas; two sisters, Julie Kay Smith and Debra Usry, of Paris, Texas; one brother, Bobby Joe Smith of Lexington, Texas. Several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
