North Lamar Intermediate Announces Spelling Bee Winners

North Lamar Intermediate hosted its annual spelling bee today, where students showcased their spelling prowess through an exciting competition. After 12 intense rounds, Lucy Caldwell and Sara Harris emerged as co-champions, with Isabelle Collar named as the alternate.

The spelling bee began with class-level competitions, with the top two spellers from each class advancing to the school-wide event. Participants demonstrated exceptional skill and determination, making this year’s bee a memorable event.

The winners, Lucy Caldwell and Sara Harris, will represent North Lamar Intermediate at the Lamar County Spelling Bee on February 5, 2025, at the Paris Junior High Auditorium.
