Maggie Sue Smallwood Munday || Obituary
Maggie Sue Smallwood Munday, 85, of Reno, passed away Monday, January 13, 2025, in Paris Regional Medical Center with her son by her side. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 AM Saturday, January 25, 2025, in the chapel of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with John Cannon officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with Jordan Williamson, Justin Williamson, Greg White, Rich Avila Mark Arnold, And Bart Jetton serving as pallbearers. Family will receive friends from 9:30 AM till service time at the chapel.
She was born on January 11, 1940, in Sylvan, TX a daughter of George Dewey and Maggie Irene Young Smallwood. Sue was a member of Westwood Church of Christ in Paris, attended Blossom Schools and graduated from Blossom High School in 1957, and was Customer Service Director @ Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.
She married Donald Ray Williamson on September 8, 1961, and he preceded her in death on August 6, 1973. On April 30, 1976, she married, Waylon “Butch” Munday and he preceded her in death on February 27, 2022. She was also preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Coy Smallwood, Sam Smallwood and Mona Smallwood-Grooms
Sue is survived by her children, Donna White and her spouse, Greg of Garland, TX, Jeff Williamson and his spouse, Candy of Reno, TX. and Tonya Munday-Johnson of Keller, TX; grandchildren, Brittni & Rich Avila, Jordan Williamson and fiancé, Heather Black and Justin and Miranda Williamson; great grandchildren, Olive Zuhoski, Bailee, Hunter and Aubrey Williamson, Nori Rose and Frankie Avila, Hudson and Harbor Williamson, and expected baby soon, Baker Williamson; sisters in law, Veleria Donahoo and Verenia VanWinkle; she is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family and cherished friends and her 4-legged friends, Krickett, Bam-Bam and Pebbles.
