Farmers Bank & Trust Introduces HEART Student Collective
Farmers Bank & Trust (FB&T) is launching the HEART Student Collective, an exciting opportunity for students aged 16-20 to engage with their communities while gaining insights into banking and leadership. Rooted in the bank’s core values of HEART (Honor, Excellence, Adaptability, Respect, and Teamwork), this program is designed to inspire and empower the next generation.
Applications are now open, and close Jan. 31, 2025. They are being accepted online at MyFarmers.Bank/heartcollective in the following communities: Texarkana, Texas; Texarkana, Ark.; Ashdown, Ark.; Magnolia, Ark.; Camden, Ark.; Hope, Ark.; Nashville, Ark.; De Queen, Ark.; and Paris, Texas.
Participants can serve a one-year or two-year term (full calendar year) and will be granted opportunities to learn about local banking and be part of a corporate atmosphere, as well as summer job shadowing, and a chance to join the FB&T internship program. In return, the Bank will use this as an opportunity to connect with younger generations and learn more about their preferences for technology, customer service, and marketing.
HEART Student Collective members will also receive volunteer hours credit along with exclusive FB&T gear and other perks. Their involvement will be celebrated with an annual press release, blog posts, and social media features, and they will have the option to participate in the FB&T Social Media Ambassador program to further expand their professional networking and connections.
