24th Annual CAC Paris Sweetheart Soiree 2025

The Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) of Paris invites you to the 24th annual Sweetheart Soiree at Love Civic Center on Saturday, February 8, beginning at 6pm.

The evening will feature a delicious dinner along with exciting prizes for raffle and auction, topped off with plenty of fun and dancing to amazing live music provided by the Manhattan Band with the Jordan Kahn Music Company.

All proceeds from the event will support the ongoing work of CAC Paris, whose mission since 1999 has been to promote hope, healing and justice for child victims of crime in Lamar and Red River Counties. We provide family advocacy services, forensic interviews and therapy for children in our community whose lives have been affected by abuse.

CAC Paris is an affiliate of both the National Children’s Alliance and CAC Texas (CACTX); and 98.6% of all Texans live in a county that is officially served by a local center like CAC Paris. Last year in 2024:

– 339, 590 reports from the statewide child abuse hotline were received by CACs, and

– 60, 328 children received critical services at a Texas CAC.

The CAC Paris staff is proud to have played a key part in this effort alongside all our wonderful local supporters, as well as our area partners in law enforcement, family protective services and the district attorneys’ offices.

CAC are also excited to welcome Dr. Elena Doskey de Lobon as the special guest for the evening. Dr. Lobon is the director of clinical training for the Dallas CAC, one of the largest centers in our state and the organizers of the annual Crimes Against Children Conference, which provides training for thousands of professionals from around the world.

Catering for the evening’s dinner will be provided by Scholl Bros, Bar-B-Que, recently featured in Texas Monthly magazine and voted best BBQ in Paris for the last 21 years. Complimentary beer and wine to be provided by Paris Mobile Bar.

The Jordan Kahn Music Company’s Immersive Entertainment Specialists aim to celebrate human connection, elevate and empower artists, and push the boundaries of live entertainment. Notable clients have included: Dave Chappelle, Tommy Hilfiger, Saks Fifth Avenue, Toyota, Bergdorf Goodman and Bloomingdales.
