Aggravated Assault w/Deadly Weapon

Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at 11:15pm; a Paris Officer responded to the 800 block of Deshong Drive and spoke with a victim of an assault. The victim had given a known subject eighty dollars ($80) earlier in the day to drive him to Bryant Texas to pick up his
girlfriend and return them to Paris. The known subject never took the victim to Bryant, Texas, but ditched him at a store. Later in the day, near the intersection of NE 20th St. and Booth, the victim was struck in his face with a pair of brass knuckles by the known subject as he, the victim was attempting to regain the $80 dollars. A felony Aggravated Assault w/Deadly Weapon is under investigation.
