Gloria Torres || Obituary

Gloria Torres, age 60, of Paris, Texas, passed away peacefully December 8, 2024, surrounded by loved ones at Legends Healthcare Rehabilitation.

Gloria, the daughter of Ernesto and Angelita Torres was born September 18, 1964, in Edinburg, Texas.  Gloria’s happiest times were being with her family, creating/wearing costume jewelry, and coloring pictures of animals and princesses.  Everyone who knew Gloria always commented on her radiant smile and happy personality.

Gloria was preceded in death by her mother, Angelita Torres.  Gloria is survived by her father, Ernesto Torres Sr., her sister Linda Vineyard and husband Greg of Ennis, Texas, her sister Noemi Plata and husband Benny of Paris, Texas, her brother Jessie Torres and wife Patti of Sumner, Texas, and her brother Ernesto Torres Jr. and wife Karryn of Allen, Texas.  Gloria was a proud aunt to nine beloved nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the following:
Educare, Legend HealthCare Rehabilitation, 5th floor staff of Paris Regional Medical Center, and Elara Caring Hospice.  A special thank you to Theresa Manning for taking a special interest and care for Gloria at the group home.

A private family celebration will be held at a later date at Evergreen Cemetery.
