Nothing To See Here – Paris PD to no longer release Mug Shots

eExtraNews reached out to the Paris Police Department and requested to know why the Police Department will no longer be sending out “Mug Shots” of individuals arrested after we received this Press Release today. Here is the reply we received:
It was decided that releasing the arrest photos served no criminal justice purposes and those persons arrested may or may not have not been found guilty of any offense.
