David Wayne Goss, 68, of Paris, passed away November 28, 2024, at Paris Regional Health. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 5, 2024, in the chapel of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. Tiny Freelen officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Maxey. Pallbearers will be Jessie Nanez, Jessie Nanez Jr., Clint Somers, Tim Moore, Jeremy McFatridge and Ryan Emeyabbi. Honorary pallbearer will be Jessie Stewart. Family will receive friends from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.

He was born on October 5, 1956, in Paris a son of Earl J. and Barbara Eloise Rhodes Goss. He was a self-employed flooring installer and was a graduate of Paris High School.

He was preceded in death by his spouse, Rena Sue Goss whom he married on December 1, 1994, in Hugo, his parents, brother, Curtis Goss and a sister, Brenda Goss.

Survivors include children, Dustin Goss, Brady Goss, Jeffery Goss and wife Kristina, Danny Emeyabbi and wife, Christy, Jennifer Goss, Sabrena Hlas and Sherena Fogleman; grandchildren, Ryan, Rielyn, Coden, Braelyn, Gunner, Braylon, Tyler, Ashton, Tandra, Layla and Nevaeh; brothers, Gary Goss and Rex Powell and sisters, Diane Goss, Debora Goss, Victoria Goss and Shirley Goss.
