Man arrested for theft of mail

November 15, 2024, the department received a report of theft of mail in the 900 block of Clement Road. A witness stated they were following a subject who had been witnessed taking mail from several boxes on Clement Road. Based on witness reports, an officer located Curtis Ray Gentry (46) in a business in the 1600 block of N. Main. Gentry denied having any mail, but a consensual search revealed mail from six Clement Rd. addresses in his pocket. Gentry was arrested for Theft of Mail. He was taken into custody without incident.
