Warrant check revealed aggravated assault with a deadly weapon || November 5, 2024

November 2, 2024, officers came into contact with Christopher Lee Davis (47), after responding to a call of a theft in the 1100 block of E. Grove. Davis was located in the area. A warrant check revealed an outstanding warrant for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. The initial assault occurred in June of 2024 in the 2100 block of Cherry St. Davis is alleged to have assaulted a victim by stabbing them with a knife. Davis was taken into custody on the warrant without incident.
