The Pastor of the Church that burned in the 1600 block of NE 13th St. wants to file charges for metal being stolen from the remains of the church

Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at 3:59 pm; a Pastor of a church in the 1600 block of NE 13th Street stated to a Paris Officer that he wants to file charges on individuals for taking metal from the remains of the church that burned to the ground on September 29th. The area currently has an unsafe do not enter or occupy placard posted on the front side. The Pastor provided a video, wherein one subject stated that he should have asked permission before taking metal and selling it at a scrap yard. A Felony Burglary of a Building report was taken.
