Nancy Dianne Kalian || Obituary

Nancy Dianne Kalian went home to be with her Lord on Monday, October 28, 2024, at Paris Regional Health. Nancy was born on March 12, 1947, in Port Jefferson, New York to Jim and Natalie Thullen.

She married Lamont Kalian on May 21, 1967, and had 56 wonderful years of marriage before his death. Nancy retired from Silgan Can Company in 2007. After retirement she dedicated herself to her grandchildren and traveling with her husband. Nancy loved spending time with her family and attending all of her grandchildren’s activities. She was a devout Christian and a member of Ramseur Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Melanie Walls and husband, Justin of Paris; grandchildren, Madison Walls, Christian Walls, and Allie Walls; sisters, Lydia Smith and husband Kurt of Binghamton, NY, Natalie Collins and husband, John of Long Island, NY; brother, Jack Thullen and wife, Heidi of Lake Placid, FL.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Lamont Kalian and parents, Jim and Natalie Thullen.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Friday, November 1, 2024, in Ramseur Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Dunbar officiating. The interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Nancy was so very grateful of the wonderful people that helped her during her illness. A special thank you to Lydia Smith, Natalie Collins, Jack and Heidi Thullen, Mickey Rigrod, Cody and Melissa Jones, and Maddi Johnson for everything they have done for our family.
