Sue Cole Bowden || Obituary
Sue Cole Bowden, 85 of Paris, went to see her Lord & Savior on October 23, 2024.
She was born in Middleton, Tennessee on October 15, 1939, to O’Neal Cole and Louise Russel Cole. She married Orlis Bowden on May 4, 1960, and celebrated 63 years of beautiful marriage together. She was a machine operator at Westinghouse for 42 years and retired in 2002 after a successful and celebrated career. She was a devout Christian who took those values and principles and taught them to her children and grandchildren. She loved spending time with her family, watching the Mavericks, sitting in the sunshine watching birds, and enjoyed visiting the casino and playing the penny machines & never failed to always eat dessert before dinner.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Orlis Bowden; her siblings, Lloyd (Buddy) Cole and Joe Cole. She is survived by her three children, Shannon Bowden of Paris, Brandi & Gregg Reavis of Paris, and Brad Bowden of Paris. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Brooke Fendley, Taylor & Luke McAuliffe of Houston, Chase Pasternak & Halle Ames of Nashville, Blake Bowden and Ashlyn Reavis. She had one great-grandchild, Phoenix Toupes and one great-grandchild on the way.
The Pallbearers for her funeral will be Gregg Reavis, Luke McAuliffe, Clayton Reavis, Marty Hicks and Tony Bowden.
The funeral services will be held at Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home located at 730 Clarksville Street, Paris, Texas on October 26, 2024, at 3 p.m. No visitation has been scheduled
