Firearm stolen out of locked vehicle || October 23, 2024

Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at 7:35 am; a victim in the 600 block of Stone Avenue reported to a Paris Officer that he locked his vehicle and left the windows partially rolled down, and later returned to discover that his Norinco SKS semi-automatic rifle, with a Rather night vision scope, totaling in value of $ 1,500 dollars, had been stolen from the front seat. At approximately 12:54 pm, the Officer responded back
to the same general area to a Found Property call, locating the stolen rifle in a trash dumpster. The dumpster was searched, but the rifle’s scope could not be located.
