Juanita Hall McMillan, aged 92, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, September 20, 2024. The family will receive family and friends from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, September 27th at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home in Paris, Texas. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. in the chapel at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home on Saturday, September 28, 2024, with Pastor Ray Evers officiating. Burial will follow at Tigertown Cemetery with Randy Threet, Todd McMillan, Chuck Ferguson, Alan Prihoda, Rodney Brunson, and Danny Schmitt serving as pallbearers.

Juanita, affectionately known by family and friends as Johnny, was the sixth child of 10 born to Charlie and Maggie (Burkeen) Hall on March 20, 1932, in Michigan Prairie, Texas. She was an active member and treasurer of her church, The Lighthouse Family Church as long as she was able to attend. She was also a member of The Paris Stamp Club; and for 30 years, she was the Treasurer and then President at Petty Community Center in Petty, Texas. Juanita spent many years with First American Title Company in California as a receptionist, phone operator, then title assistant. Upon her return to the Paris area, Juanita was the co-owner and operator of the Village Coin Laundry in Paris. With her sisters, Juanita assisted in running the Family Plant Nursery in the area, and she also played a key role in the organization of the Hall Family Reunions for 45 years. In her later years, Juanita served as an in-home healthcare provider before retiring at the age of 80.

She was predeceased in death by her parents, brothers and sisters, Elmer E. Hall, Jack and wife Evelyn Hall, George and wife Jackie Hall, Bobby Hall, Ruby Stevens and husband George, Audria M. (Sally) Talley and husband Clifford, Mildred (Millie) McDonald and husband Lee, and brother-in-law Charles Ferguson as well as her beloved cat Libby.

Juanita is survived by her two sons; Randy Threet and wife, Tracy, Todd McMillan and wife, Mickey, and two stepchildren, Bill McMillan and Lynn McMillan Carpenter; her grandchildren, Amanda Threet and Chase Threet and his wife, Katey; two sisters, Evelyn Hall Lowrance and her husband, Johnny and Mary Hall Ferguson; plus, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
