Grandparents Day, celebrated annually on the second Sunday of September, provides a heartwarming opportunity to honor the unique and cherished bond between grandparents and their grandchildren. This week, the elementary campuses within Paris ISD have embraced this
occasion with open arms, extending special invitations to grandparents and other significant guests to share meals with the students.

At Lamar County Head Start, grandparents and special guests were welcomed to join the children for a delightful breakfast on Thursday, September 12, creating a morning filled with joy, laughter, and meaningful connections. Meanwhile, T. G. Givens Elementary, Justiss Elementary, and Aikin Elementary have each opened their doors for lunch, inviting grandparents and special guests to partake in the midday meal with the students.
