Brenda Joyce Daniel || Obituary

Brenda Joyce Daniel, 71, of the Ambia Community in Lamar County, passed away Friday, Aug. 30, 2024, at her home.

Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled services for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4th at the Pavilion of Red Hill Cemetery with Rev. Mark Sanders officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Brenda, the daughter of Thomas James Farley & Nell Joyce Thompson Farley, was born July 21, 1953, in Paris, TX.

She attended North Lamar High School. Brenda was an owner and manager at several convenience stores in the Paris area. She enjoyed bowling and going to the casino. She loved her dogs, Pepper, Dolly, and Petey.

Her parents, a daughter, Donna Helm, and a great grandson, Bodie Chaidemenos preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Donald Daniel whom she married on April 20, 2006, in Hugo, OK, two sons, Chad Helm (Monica) and Garry Helm (Stephanie), grandchildren, Blake Alexander (Angelina), Miranda Alexander, Brittany Chaidemenos (Anthony), Steven Helm (Cadie), Dakota Helm (Madison), Taylor Helm, and Kaden Helm, 21 great grandchildren and two brothers, Tommy Farley and Rickey Farley (Ginger) along with several nieces & nephews and a host of friends.

Casket bearers will be: Steven Helm, Blake Alexander, Dakota Helm, Randall Farley, Titus Oliver, Joe McIntire, Brandon Broadway, and Ron Shugart.
