Jo Marie Jones Rutherford Bush || Obituary

Jo Marie Jones Rutherford Bush, 93, of Powderly, passed away in Paris on August 29, 2024. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2024, in the Roxton United Methodist Church, with Rev. Nancy Russell officiating. Burial will follow in the Restland Cemetery, with grandsons and great-grandsons serving as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the church.

She was born on June 22, 1931, in Mena, Arkansas a daughter of Maxwell A. Jones Sr. and Era Beatrice Green Jones. She was a member of the Roxton United Methodist Church and was a retired employee of Campbell Soup. Mrs. Bush was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Bush, parents, brothers, Max Jones Jr. and Billy James Jones and a sister, Beatrice James.

Surviving Mrs. Bush are sons, Stanley and wife Sandra Rutherford, Stacy Rutherford, Steve and wife Kathy Rutherford; stepson, Mike and wife Michelle Bush, and stepdaughter, Lisa and Gail Bush, 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
