Marjorie “Margie” White || Obituary

Marjorie “Margie” White, 74, of Blossom, went home to be with our Lord on Aug. 26, 2024.

Margie was born in Barton, OH, to Rev. James R. & Pauline Boggs on March 5, 1950. She married James L. White in April 1968, in Ft. Worth, TX. She worked for Kimberly-Clark for seven years and went to Aladdin Beauty College to follow her passion of cosmetology. She worked for Today’s Cuts for a couple of years before she opened her own business, “Margie’s Beauty Shop & Tan Lines” in Blossom, TX, operated for 11 years. She always had a pot of coffee on!

Margie was preceded in death by her parents, James & Pauline Boggs, and a brother, Norman James Boggs.

Margie is survived by brothers, David Boggs & wife Eileen; William Boggs & wife Patsy; and a sister, Linda McMahan & husband Scott; a dear sister-in-law, Deanna Boggs; a daughter, Jamie Miller & husband Ricky; a son, James K. White & wife Cricket. Many nieces and a nephew. Last, but not least, the loves of her life – eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren!

Margie “Nana” was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend. Most of those friends became part of the family. She had a gift of lighting up a room, making friends, and helping those in need.

Due to Margie’s request, there will be no viewing or service. A memorial will be held soon. (TBA)
