Trinity Christian Academy (TCA) Paris Lady Warriors Varsity Volleyball team held their home opener on Tuesday the 13th against the Dodd City Varsity Lady Hornets. Dodd City took the first game 25-16, TCA took the second game 25-23, TCA took the third game 25-20, Dodd City took the fourth game 25-22, and Dodd City took the last game 15-4 for the series win.

Head Couch Tamara Smallwood and Assistant Coach Cora Pyeatt said the girls had some great plays and showed some exceptional teamwork during the series. Before the game, they announced the Team Captain Junior – Cenzie Pyaett (#1) and Co-Captain Sophomore – Rimini Covington (#11).

The Junior High team has their home opener tonight at TCA Paris at 5pm followed by the Varsity Girls. They will be playing the Lady Knights of CHESS – Christian Home Educators of Sulphur Springs.
