Paul Eugene Lester || Obituary

Paul Eugene Lester, 69, of Paris, passed away Monday, July 1, 2024, near Bonham as the result of an automobile accident.

Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled services for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 20th at Christian Fellowship Church, 3410 N. Main St., Paris, TX, with Rev. Tiny Freelen & Rev. Wade White officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 5 – 8 p.m.

Mr. Lester, the son of Marvin Lester & Edna Barnes Lester, was born Oct. 9, 1954, in Paris, TX.  He attended Paris schools. He owned & operated Paul Lester Wrecker Service. Paul loved to cut and bail hay and was an avid outdoorsman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin & Edna Lester, and siblings, Marion Lester, Monroe Lester, Evelyn Finney, Opal Lester, Roger Lester, Robert Lester, and Dorothy Lester.

Survivors include his wife, Frances Williams Lester, whom he married in 1983, a son, Timmy Lester & wife Stormey, a daughter, Paula J. Lawson, a grandson, Damien P. Lawson & wife Makenzi, a granddaughter, Courtney D. Lester, a great granddaughter, Rai’Lynn N. Lester, a brother, Charlie Lester & wife Elaine, and a sister, Ruth Cooper along with numerous nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
