Local man arrested on a warrant for Fraudulent Use or Possession of Identifying Information

On July 6, Joquan Deontrae Wallace (29) was arrested on a warrant for Fraudulent Use or Possession of Identifying Information. He was a passenger in a vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 1600 block of N. Main. This arrest was the result of a 2022 case in which Wallace was suspect in a forgery incident in which stolen checks were forged and passed on an elderly individual. Another suspect had been arrested in April 2023 and a third is at large.

All are innocent until proven otherwise in a court of law.
