Path revises timeline for his move to the Amarillo City Manager position

On Monday, Paris City Manager Grayson Path sent a letter to the City Council stating that he would complete his tenure with the City of Paris on Friday, July 12. Path originally planned his final day for Friday, August 2.
“Since my first notice to you, an incredible amount of work both professionally in the office and personally at home has taken place, giving me the confidence that my early departure is the correct decision for my family, as well as the Cities of Paris and Amarillo,” the letter states.
A special meeting of the Paris City Council was already planned for 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 2. The agenda includes items to possibly appoint an interim city manager and provide direction to staff regarding the selection process for the city manager position.
