Ann Drake Gooch || Obituary

Ann Drake Gooch, 92 of Paris, passed away on June 26, 2024.  Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, June 29 at 2:00 PM at the Forest Chapel Methodist Church with Wade White officiating.  Burial will be in the Forest Chapel Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour before the service.

Ann was born on June 5, 1932, in Fannin County TX.  She was the daughter of Kim Buck and Bertha Drake.  On June 29, 1950, Ann married Scott Gooch.  He preceded her in death on October 17, 1998.  She was also preceded in death by her parents and sisters Hazel, Melba and Mary, and a brother Hubert.

She is survived by her children Debra Fugate (Jim) of Dallas and Janet Eaton (Robert) of Kilgore.  She is also survived by Grandson Josh Fugate of Celina, Jeremy Eaton (Danielle) of Tomball, Jennifer Driscol (Jeff) of Liberty City and Jessica of Dallas.  Also surviving are sisters Helen McDaniel, Becky Pridemore (Joe), and brother Richard Drake (Trava).  Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. and 8 great grandchildren,

Pall Bearers are Paul and Brad Drake, Josh Fugate, Jeremy Eaton, Justin Walls and Bo Pridemore. Honorary pall bearers are Mark Buster, Frankie Gimbel and Wade McDaniel.
