Kenneth Raymond Schepis, 64, of Roxton passed away Friday, June 21, 2024.
Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home has scheduled a private family Graveside Service for Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at Evergreen Open Air Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, June 26, 2024, from 5:00-6:00 PM at Pathway Church of God.

Kenneth Raymond Schepis was born on Nov. 11, 1959, in Honolulu, Hawaii to Nino Schepis and Donna Herring Schepis. Growing up as a Military brat, he and his brother shared a love for the Military, having played GI Joe. Kenneth loved the high rises in San Fransico, drawing, and watching the History Channel. He had a great love for airplanes and enjoyed collecting them. He was proud to have driven the Alaskan Alcan. Kenneth enjoyed singing and playing bass in various churches and groups for decades. He loved his Sunday School, his church, and his pastors. He loved his coffee! He was also proud to be an organ donor. However, one thing that he did not enjoy doing was reading.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Alissa Schepis, Mother-In-Law, Margaret Murphy, niece, Ellie Murphy, and nephew, Fred Murphy III. Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife LaVonne, daughter, Britt, brother Mark Schepis, and wife Marsha. Father-in-law, Fred Murphy, Three brothers-in-law; Fred Murphy II and wife Kyong, Frank Murphy and wife Anne Marie, and Michael Murphy and wife Zelena.  Also, nephews; Bruce Schepis and wife Kay, Matthew Covarrubias, Nick Allen, David Murphy, Jordan Murphy, Tim Murphy, and Matt Murphy. Nieces; Hunter Schepis, Katie Murphy, and Maria Jurotich, two great-nephews, Barrett and Nino Schepis, three great-nieces, Aurelia and Avelina Jurotich, Kadence Schepis, and many more family members, and his constant companion, his fur baby Berry AKA DaDa’s baby.
