Vickie Diana Proctor || Obituary

Vickie Diana Proctor, 73, of Paris, went to be with the Lord on June 20, 2024, at Heritage House of Paris.

Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled services for 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 25th at the United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Robert Myre, Jency Proctor, Tommy Henry, and Rev. Joe & Pam Shaw officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 5 – 7 pm. Private burial will be made in Springhill Cemetery.

Vickie, the daughter of John Glen Henry & Margaret Louise Fleming Henry, was born April 4, 1951, in Paris, TX.

She graduated from North Lamar High School. On April 29, 1972, she married John W. Proctor, building 52 years of family and memories. Vickie worked ten years at Safeway before devoting her time to being a homemaker and traveling with John when he was a pastor. She was a faithful member of the United Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include her husband, John, a daughter, Jency Proctor, a grandson, Alex Strickland, two brothers, Johnny Henry (Jennifer) and Tommy Henry (Joan) and numerous nieces & nephews along with a host of friends. Honorary casket bearers will be: Charles Fleming, Alex Strickland, Ronny Henry, Donny Henry, Mark Henry, Rev. Ben Crites, Ronny Bolton, and Robert Proctor.
