903 Sun Sets presents Fleetwood X and Common Ground
Paris, TX – The second concert in the 903 Sun Sets Series will take place Thursday evening in Downtown Paris, Texas. This concert series is presented by Visit Paris, Texas (managed and operated by the Lamar County Chamber of Commerce), as well as local businesses that contribute to funding the series.
On June 6, the series welcomed local band Mix Society as the show opener, with Ft. Worth native Josh Weathers headlining the opening night. According to location intelligence software, more than 2300 adults (in addition to the crowd of children and teenagers) attended the show to enjoy live music, vendors, food trucks, and downtown shopping.
“This is our third year presenting the 903 Sun Sets Series,” said Paul Allen, Chamber President. “Of course, we could not have made these happen without the support of our local businesses, which sponsored the series. We’ve seen anywhere from 2,000-5,000 people on the square each Thursday in June, and we look forward to watching that number grow as we bring people together to enjoy our downtown.”
The 903 Sun Sets Series attracts visitors from across the region, including Broken Bow, Canton, Texarkana, Mesquite, Springtown, and beyond.
The series will continue through June with the following line-up: June 13: Fleetwood X (a tribute to Fleetwood Mac) with Common Ground
June 20: Little Texas with Stacy Musgrove
June 27: Cas Haley with Dustin Perkins
If you plan to be in the downtown area on these dates, be mindful of road closures beginning at 8 am. The concerts are free to attend, and show-goers are encouraged to bring a chair! To learn more about the series and the artist, please visit 903sunsets.com.
