North Lamar ISD Senior Shea Wrenn Commits to Oklahoma Wesleyan University Men’s Soccer Team for 2024-2025 School Year
North Lamar ISD is proud to announce that senior Shea Wrenn has signed a National Letter of Intent to play college soccer for Oklahoma Wesleyan University (OKWU) in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, for the 2024-2025 school year.
Shea Wrenn, who made an instant impact upon joining the North Lamar soccer team, is set to take his talents to the next level. Wrenn finished his high school soccer career with an impressive eight goals at the varsity level and was honored with the Fighting Panther award as a senior. His outstanding performance as a sophomore earned him the Newcomer of the Year and Offensive Player of the Year titles on the All-District awards list.
“Shea came into this program as a sophomore and became the starting midfielder within the first couple of games,” said North Lamar coach Justin Stout. “He played a huge role for our team as he created a lot of scoring chances that led to a lot of assists for him.”
A signing ceremony was held in Shea’s honor on May 16 at the James A. Dawson Athletic Facility, where family, friends, and teammates gathered to celebrate this significant achievement.
